This just had to happen in Florida.

40-year-old Idalmis De Armas allegedly set her husband on fire with nail polish remover Saturday night. The Tampanative doused her husband’s upper arm and shorts with the flammable compound, then lit him up, Keyzer Soze style. The man suffered severe burns to his arm, but did not request medical attention.

Although De Armas confessed at the scene of the crime, she still resisted arrest. She was subsequently charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer without violence. The active chemical in nail polish remover, acetone, is also found in many household cleaning products. Believe it or not, you probably have an entire arsenal underneath your kitchen sink.
