For the London 2012 Olympics, Facebook is taking advantage of the fact that it can count virtually every athlete and every company in the world (outside of China, of course) amongst its 900 million users.
The social network this week launched its London 2012 page that directs users to the Facebook pages of popular Olympic athletes, teams, and all 25 sports. From the portal you can "Like" a certain person or sport or you can head directly to their page.
Facebook is hoping people use the page to stay up-to-date on everything going on with the 2012 Summer Games. Will you?
