Perhaps they simply overlooked it all of these years, but Facebook is finally giving users the option to edit comments straightaway as a drop-down option in a Comments box. Previously, users were forced to do this in a very roundabout way, having to delete a comment and re-post it. Despite its convenience, the new feature pretty much defeats the purpose of being able to cover your tracks, as anyone who can see your comments can now see what changes were made and when. All in the name of transparency, I guess.
