Seth MacFarlane, creator of the hit animated shows Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad, is all about wish fulfillment. He's fashioned himself into the Hollywood player he always wanted to be by dominating Fox's Sunday night programming, and now he's made the leap to feature-film directing with Ted, the hilarious new comedy in which a young boy's wish comes true when his favorite teddy bear springs to life (voiced by MacFarlane) and becomes his BFF—all the way into foul-mouthed, pot-smoking, skirt-chasing adulthood.

To celebrate Ted's Friday release, Complex thought it would be a good idea to deliver real kids' wishes to MacFarlane on the set of his Shotcaller photo shoot and interview so he could help make their dreams come true, too. Only that's not quite how it turned out. More like: "Seth MacFarlane Crushes Childhood Dreams."
