Guess what, New Yorkers? Soon enough, you won’t have to journey over to New Jersey for Dairy Queen. CEO John Gainor reached out to Mayor Bloomberg yesterday to make the announcement: New York’s first DQ location will open in the State Island Ferry terminal in St. George this year.
That’s just one small step, as Gainor says that there will be “several” locations in Manhattan by year's end.
