Along with the unveiling of the Nexus 7 tablet at the 2012 I/O developer conference, Google also announced that Chrome for Android will be the default browser on the upcoming tablet. To mark the occasion Google took the mobile version of its browser out of beta and made it available for download in the Google Play app store.

If your device runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or above, you can download Chrome now from Google Play.
