Chances are that any big budget blockbuster you see this summer will feature one of the most prevalent trends currently sweeping through Hollywood: slow motion. From action scenes that move at a snail’s pace, to romantic embraces that drip slower than molasses, this stylish technique has a stranglehold on the industry.
