Despite all of the pomp and circumstances during last night's MTV Movie Awards, the biggest moment from the show didn't involve starlets in skimpy outfits or golden buckets of popcorn. Instead, the most talked about part of the show was the brand-new trailer that debuted from The Dark Knight Rises. Introduced by Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Nolan, and an emotional Christian Bale, this new footage from the movie should put any fears about the "third film jinx" to rest.

Now, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, you can check out the footage for yourself. Featuring a lot more of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman and Tom Hardy's Bane, this trailer gives us some much-needed action from the movie. The first few trailers certainly did a tremendous job setting up the tone and the atmosphere, but it's nice to now get a glimpse at a few of the more spectacular moments from the film.

As Christopher Nolan said during his intro, "Every great story deserves a great ending." And we're pretty sure that we're about to get one when The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20.
