25-year-old Gina Virgilio of Anchorage, Alaska, has been accused of killing her boyfriend, Michael Gonzalez, by dousing him with gasoline while he slept. Virgilio initially told police that Gonzalez was sipping gasoline and spitting it out on the couch when he lit a piece of paper that sent him up in flames. She then claims she ran from the apartment, saying it was either "him or me."
However, she reportedly changed her story several times, eventually confessing to her mother and nurse. She offered no motive for the murder. She's been charged with murder, arson, and numerous other offenses.
