Activision and Disney today announced that another Wreck-it Ralph game is in development, this one for Nintendo's Wii, DS and 3DS.

The last game inspired by the movie was Fix-it Felix Jr., a browser arcade throwback that replicates the game the movie is based on.

That was the game from the movie about the game, whereas today's announcement concerns a game based on the movie about the first game. If you're getting confused, well, best not to worry too much about it.

"Wreck-It Ralph, as a brand entity, is perfectly suited for video game stardom," Activision Executive Vice President David Oxford said, presumably in a press release. "With the fantastic characters and creative atmosphere envisioned by Walt Disney Animation Studios, we know fans are going to love seeing their newfound favorite characters embark on an all-new side-scrolling adventure."

Hopefully it doesn't stink like most game adaptations. Any predictions? Leave them in the comments below or on Twitter.
