The PS Vita is certainly in need of some new games, and two have just been announced for release in the US.

Ragnarok Odyssey is the next entry in the Ragnarok Online series. It's an action RPG that was released in Japan in February to much acclaim. In the world of Ragnarok Odyssey, melee action reigns supreme and humans fight giants after the death of the world's ancient gods. It's definitely one to watch out for.

Orgarhythm features a mix of music and strategy gameplay specifically designed to be played on a mobile touch device. That makes it sound perfect for the iPhone, but this one was built from the ground up for the Vita. It sounds a bit like Patapon, in fact. And XSEED wants "aspiring musicians" to submit their songs for use in the game—they'll announce more on that later.

Ragnarok Odyssey is from Game Arts, the studio behind the Lunar and Grandia franchises. Orgarhythm is from Acquire and Neilo, the studio recently founded by Rez developer Takashi Hirai.

Both titles are slated to hit North America this year. What other Vita games are you looking forward to? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
