At the 2012 Mobile World Congress, Google released a startling statistic: There are now around 850,000 Android activations made each day. When close to one million phones are being turned on every day, you're doing something right. Yet, Google and its mobile operating system, Android, still get a bad rap. Some say its too scattered brained and fragmented, referring to the number of different versions of the OS running on current phones and the lack of cohesiveness. Others look at the Google Play app store and say Google doesn't have enough control over the apps that are sold. All valid points. But Android's not going anywhere and it's only going to get better. While we can't tell you why you should go out and buy an Android tablet, we can offer some advice as to why your next phone should run Google's OS.
