A recent domain registration may have outed a game based on The Avengers film license. The Avengers: Battle for Earth was registered by Marvel on May 3rd, the day before the film's release. The domain is listed on Ubisoft's nameservers.
It seemed like there wasn't going to be a video game tie-in for just-released blockbuster: Sega recently relinquished the rights to Marvel's film-related games. Without a developer, a licensed Avengers game seemed unlikely.
Considering that movie's already in theaters, expect some sort of announcement about Avengers: Battle for Earth sooner rather than later.
