Yesterday, a document with nearly 55,000 Twitter logins surfaced on Anonymous’ outpost of choice, Pastebin, suggesting that the hackers were once again up to no good. However, no one will be claiming responsibility anytime soon, as the attack proved largely ineffective. Most of the logins belonged to spam accounts already suspended by Twitter, and the rest were unused duplicates. Despite this, it still amounts to one of the largest security breaches Twitter’s seen yet. There could be more to come.
