After Dr. Dre left his mark on the consumer electronics game with his Beats by Dre headphones, it seems every musician has been pining to get in on the action. Ludacris, 50 Cent, and Lady Gaga have all signed deals with various headphone brands. The latest to join the fray is country music star Tim McGraw who has teamed up with the folks at JBL.
The JBL Artist Series by McGraw will launch with an in-ear model and an on-ear model. The in-ear model will focus on cutting out ambient sound so the music sounds clear even at low volume. The over-ear version will be more bass heavy and deliver a larger range of music.
The headphones will go on sale on May 15th and cost around $50 (in-ear) and $130 (over-ear).
