In the wake of the news that THQ may be forced to cancel Tomonobu Itagaki's upcoming project, Devil's Third, rumors that some of THQ's other high-profile AAA projects might be in danger of getting the axe.

In an attempt to quell any and all such rumors, THQ VP Danny Bilson tweeted last night that inSane, the first part of an upcoming trilogy of horror games imagined by Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro, in still in production.

His exact words; "Guillermo Del Toro's inSane is not cancelled!"

Speaking with Polygon, Bilson went on to say that the projects from Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Desilet and Left 4 Dead developer Turtle Rock are both still in production. Turtle Rock is working on a multiplayer first-person shooter that will take the genre "to a whole new level." Little is known about Desilet's project beyond that the fact that development began last summer.

It's unlikely that either will be at E3 next month. However, just because you can't the see games being made, doesn't mean they aren't there.
