A 27-year-old Arizona woman was arrested last week after authorities say that she faked cancer to get money for breast implants.
Jamie Lynn Toler reportedly told her former boss that she had cancer, and needed a "double mastectomy and breast reconstruction," but that she was uninsured. Even worse, she didn't stop there - she told the same story to her mother and her grandparents. Family dinners are gonna be so awkward now.
Toler helped organize fundraisers to raise money for her breast implants, and ended up collecting more than $8,000. Medical records - obtained by police since her arrest - show that Toler indeed did not have cancer, and she paid for the surgery in cash.
She has been charged with theft and fraud. And also, with being an awful person.
