This NYC Duplex Has an 18-Foot Stainless Steel Slide Inside

Grown kids.

This 2,400 square-foot duplex, located on 13th Street between 1st Avenue and Avenue A, is going for $3.9 million. It has four bedrooms, four baths, two terraces, and a garden, but the biggest selling point is definitely the 18-foot, stainless steel slide.

The slide connects the upstairs office and downstairs living room. It was the idea of 26-year-old professional poker player Phil Galford. It took three months for an Oregon-based engineering firm to build for the small sum of $250,000. There's a conventional stairwell for the less adventurous folk, but who says you have to grow up?

This whole place is proof that grown kid syndrome is alive and well, and looks glorious.
