Game Informer unveiled the cover of their upcoming July issue, revealing that Epic Games will reveal a new Gears of War game for the Xbox 360 at Microsoft's E3 press conference on Monday.
To avoid completely spoiling the surprise, GI has refrained from revealing anything about the game beyond the cover, which shows a faceless man in chains being escorted by a pair of COG guards. The trio is walking through a tunnel, but out the back you can see locust flying over a city in flames.
Based only on what's shown in the image, I'm going to guess that the game is a prequel. We'll find out if I'm right when the game is revealed at Microsoft's E3 press event on Monday.
