While lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur's commercials skimp on the outfits (that's a good thing), they definitely go all out with their production. Just check out its latest promo to hit the web, entitled "The Chase," which follows a woman whose clothes are torn off by obstacles (fences, doors and such) as she runs to retrieve her stolen purse. 

The trend of pumping up lingerie ads with more budget than an indie movie isn't exclusive to the British brand. For years, labels have been trying to sell their silky undergarments with a little more panache by creating commercials that function like short films. From Michael Bay's explosive Victoria's Secret commercials to Emporio Armani's intimately stripped-down portraits of big-name celebs, these are the sexiest (and most impressively produced) lingerie ads of all time.
