Perhaps because the pictures had already hit the web in some form or another, earlier today Rihanna went ahead and unleashed some of the photos and the cover to the July issue of Esquire UK.
Shot back in February, when she was still a blonde, the images find her topless and giving off seductive facial expressions.
And after recent allegations by Chris Brown that she'd slept with Meek Mill (remember: Drake also chimed in on the matter), she offered a few words with the images.
"They can say whateva, ima do whateva," she wrote. "Ain't like me, dat bitch too phony. No pain is foreva."
