A really, really tan New Jersey mother (seen above) has been arrested for child endangerment after after allegedly taking her 5-year-old daughter tanning with her. When the girl showed up at school with a "pretty severe sunburn," she told classmates that she'd "gone tanning with Mommy."
The woman, 44-year-old Patricia Krentcil, claims that her daughter was not in the tanning bed with her, but instead just in the room, and the sunburn was caused by actual sun. "It's like taking your daughter to go food shopping," she told NBC 4 New York. "There's tons of moms that bring their children in ... I tan, she doesn't tan."
Yes, we can see that you tan. We can see that you tan a lot.
Krentcil was released on $25,000 bail.
