It's pretty easy to make a buck on your story if that story involves sleeping with the President of the United States when he was just a lowly Columbia University student. Vanity Fair has published some excerpts from a new Barack Obama biography that includes journal entries from his first "serious" girlfriend, Genevieve Cook.

In select passages, she describes first meeting a young Barack (beanbag conversations), a date and possible home-cooked dinner followed by proto-presidential sexy-time, and the smells of his non-Lincoln bedroom (raisins, cigarettes, Brut-spray deodorant, sex). Also, revealed in the article—in case you have no idea who Barack Obama is—he was extremely smart and articulate even at 22. This certainly won't help the arguments for the detractors of his coolness.
