Nintendo has announced two 3DS eShop tie-in games to be released alongside Pokemon Black and White Version 2.

The first is the "Pro Edition" of the 3D Pokedex, which comes with all of the Pokemon unlocked and, presumably, adds all the new Pokemon from the upcoming sequel. As you might expect based on the name, the Pokedex 3D Pro app isn't going to be free - That's what the current "regular" Pokedex app is for.

The second is much more interesting: Pokemon Dream Radar is an augmented reality game where players try and capture Pokemon projected against whatever your 3DS camera is pointed at. The Pokemon captured in Dream Radar can be transferred to the player's Black and White 2 save and used as if they were caught in the main game.

Players looking to snag some advanced Pokemon early on in the game will definitely want to take advantage: As of now, there's no indicator that the game will change the types of Pokemon shown based on a player's location or other save data.

Both Pokedex 3D Pro and Pokemon Dream Radar will jump to the 3DS 3Shop later this year. Pokemon Black and White Version 2 are expected to hit stores this fall.
