Welcome to Northern California, where an 80-year-old woman named Laverne wants to skydive for the first time. Fate has a plan for Laverne that involves showing her that being elderly doesn't mean wanting for adventure. Or, in this case, almost dying. See, Laverne flew the coop with her tandem master and her falls out of her loose harness, leaving her plummeting through the air, the only thing keeping her from assured death the strong grip of the tandem master. He holds on, and she makes it.
