A Utica, N.Y., man is feeling like the worst dad ever after striking his 8-year-old son in the head with a samurai sword while fighting another man. In an apparent fit of jealous rage, 42-year-old Thar Kyi stormed into the home where his three kids were preparing for school and started swinging the weapon at their mother’s boyfriend. No wonder their relationship didn’t work out.
Kyi missed the boyfriend, instead hitting his son, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Kyi was later found in Syracuse and charged with assault, burglary, criminal contempt and criminal possession of a weapon. This is proof that children are the ones who really get hurt when parents have beef.
