Never stand too close to a naked man—especially if he's holding a gun. Police officers were forced to shoot a naked man Friday morning after neighbors heard someone firing a gun, screaming, and setting off fireworks in the backyard of a Bloomington, Indiana, home.
When police approached him, he allegedly aimed his weapon at an officer—a sure-fire way to get shot. He raised his weapon at a second officer and was subsequently shot again. The man was identified as college-age, but it wasn't confirmed that he was an Indiana University student.
A statement from Bloomington police said that multiple 9mm shell casings were recovered, and that damage was done to three vehicles and the back door of the residence of a second caller. The man was treated at a hospital for his injuries.
It was the end of the semester.
