That new Lindsay Lohan Elizabeth Taylor biopic that seemed like it was never going to happen is apparently actually going to happen: According to Deadline, True Blood and Atlas Shrugged actor Grant Bowler has been cast as the Richard Burton to Lohan's Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime TV movie, Liz and Dick. Filming is set to begin any day now, apparently, and executive producer Larry A. Thompson has high hopes for the film. "The chemistry erupted in the room," he said, describing Lohan and Bowler's first reading together.
So yes, it may be a role in a Lifetime movie, but it's still a role in a movie that seems to actually be on the path to production. Good to have you back, Lindsay.
