Those Assassins really do seem to be everywhere, don't they?

UK retailer Zavvi has betrayed the secret of Assassin's Creed 3's PS Vita release, listing the game at the expected price of around $40 and with a release date October 31, a day after the game is slated for Xbox 360 and PS3 in the US.

Getting AC 3 would be a major boon for the Vita, as like most new systems, it's so far been plagued with a lack of new games.

With the PS Vita's power, console and handheld games are becoming ever more similar, making it all the more tempting to buy two nearly identical versions of the same game. It's too bad there's no voucher of sorts to get a discount on the Vita version when you buy games on the PS3, or vice verse.

But October is a way off, so who knows? Maybe they'll implement this and we can take credit for being the first people to ever think of it, ever. Do you think that's a good idea? What can Vita games do to differentiate themselves from their console counterparts? Give us your suggestions in the comments or on Twitter.
