iOS "Airport Scanner" Turns Airport Security Into a Game

It's already a joke, after all.

Airport security is already a joke, so why not make a game out of it, too?

Airport Scannertasks you with monitoring the x-ray machines at the security checkpoints in Honolulu, Las Vegas and Chicago airports. You'll pick out offending items (guns, crowbars, life-saving medicine, etc.) while managing the lines (first-class and crew get priority) and meting out punishments to would-be terrorists.

Aggressive punishments yield larger rewards (with which to upgrade your x-ray machines) but also risk counter-litigation from wronged (read: groped) passengers.

We can't wait for the update that lets you monitor the body scanners.

So we made that part up. But still, it would be hilarious. Don't let the TSA catch you playing this one as you go through security.

If Airport Scanner inspires you to come up with any great jokes, let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
