HBO Got Unlucky, Lost $35 Million on "Luck"

Looks like HBO was pretty unlucky when it came to Luck - parent company Time Warner Cable just released their Q1 earnings, which showed a $35 million dent in the form of impairment charges for the series, which starred Dustin Hoffman and followed race-track gamblers. It was canceled last March when news broke that a third horse had died during production.

Oh no, what will they do now that they've only got Game of Thrones, True Blood, and Boardwalk Empire to fall back on?
