This crime falls somewhere between “struggle” and “thirst.” Tiffany Jacobs and Alvina Leiba, both 19-years-old and hailing from Deltona, Fla., were arrested last week for attempting to rob a Pizza Hut delivery man of $40 worth of food. Their excuse: They planned to scare dude because they didn’t have enough money for their order.

19-year-old Brian Healy arrived at Leiba’s house at about midnight, and after she invited him in, the 5’1” 200-pound Jacobs attacked him with a baseball bat—dressed as a ninja. After taking a shot to the head, Healy wrestled the bat away and fled. Leiba and Jacobs managed to steal two large pizzas, chicken wings, and apple pie, which they ate in the woods where they were hiding.

The hungry duo turned themselves in on Friday, but oddly enough, this isn’t the first time they tried to rob Healy. He told police he was involved in a “suspicious incident” with a “large framed” individual at the same house months ago. However, he didn’t call the police that time because he was compensated and nobody tried to beat him down.

The two women found the situation hilarious, laughing at their actions as they sat in holding cells. Leiba even joked that the duo would “rob a McDonald’s” when they were released because she was so hungry. Add gluttony and stupidity to charges of armed robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
