EA told shareholders that they're developing new entries in both the Dead Space and Need for Speed franchises, during a financial call yesterday.

The company didn't mention any specifics on the games' content, but said that the next Need for Speed was on track to be released in Q3 2013 (this fall) and that they're expecting the next Dead Space to be a blockbuster.

Rumors about Dead Space 3 have been circling since last fall. Most recently, a premature pre-order listing by South African retailer BT Games outed the game's existance. Coincidentally, BT Games also listed the previously unmentioned Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2the same day as their Dead Space 3 leak.

So I guess we should add Dead Space 3 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 to our E3 checklist, huh?
