Sorry guys: If you were looking forward to Disney's rendition of the Snow White fairy tale - because, apparently, making movies about Snow White is super trendy these days - looks like you're out of luck, because studio execs have just killed the project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, production of Disney's version of the film, titled Order of the Seven and set to star Saorise Ronan alongside an "international cast" portraying a "band of warriors tasked with protecting a young woman," has been officially halted. Though no official reason is given, we assume it has something to do with the fact that there are two other recent Snow White-centric movies: Snow White and the Huntsman, and Mirror, Mirror.

And, luckily, Snow White and the Huntsman is set to hit theaters this Friday, so you've still got that to look forward to, so all isn't lost. You can drown your sorrows in your popcorn on opening night.
