IGN has got a "report" from a "source" who claims that, among other things, Dead Space 3 is going to feature drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Dead Space 3 has yet to be officially announced, but its existence has been leaked and hinted at numerous times, so we're expecting to see it at E3 this year.

Isaac Clarke's co-op partner could be a figment of his imagination who appears and disappears at a second player's whims.

The game could take place on Tau Volantis, a snow-covered planet that's crawling with enemies. Some of those will be the usual necromorphs, and new varieties that resemble large spiders and legs with tentacles where their torsos should be. Others could be as big as skyscrapers.

In addition, Clarke and his new buddy could be fighting human troops for the first time in the series.

New weapons, moves and other abilities will also appear in the new game, including an integral crouch maneuver. Hi-tech!

But this is nothing but rumors right now, so hopefully we'll learn more at E3 next month. What do you want out of the game? Does the snow setting sounds okay? What about fighting humans? Can the game still be scary or will it be action-packed like Resident Evil has become? Tell us your predictions in the comments or on Twitter.
