After thirteen books, author Charlaine Harris has announced that she's ending her Sookie Stackhouse book series, otherwise known as the Southern Vampire Mysteries. The next installment, Dead Ever After, will be the last in the series, and is set to be released next May. But hey, bright side, True Blood doesn't seem to be going anywhere, and there's at least nine more books of material to go off of for future seasons. Glass half full!
