A confused bear crashed into Ogdenburg Elementary School in Ogdensburg, N.J., causing a minor scare, but not the havoc you might expect (bear, kids, disaster). After witnessing the spectacle, school custodian Earl Hornyak says he chased the sprinting animal down a hallway until it ran into a classroom. Most people’s first instinct wouldn’t be to chase a bear, but this went down in the heart of "Bear Country" in N.J., where the sight of bears elicits only Kanye shrugs.
Local police eventually let the 75-pound animal out of a window and it ran back into the woods. Appropriate, then, that the school’s sports teams are named the Bears.
