Spec Ops: The Line was one of our favorite games at PAX East last month—you can check out our list of the reasons it's better than other shooters, as well as our spectacular interview with the game's head writer, Walt Williams.

Or you can just find out for yourself, as the demo's been released today on XBLA and PSN. It's single-player only, so you won't get to taste the multiplayer, but it's the campaign that has us convinced, anyway.

You'll particularly appreciate it if you're a fan of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness (or Apocalypse Now for film buffs). Let us know what you think of the demo in the comments or on Twitter. Have fun in Dubai!
