As the self-defense argument continues in the case of Trayvon Martin's death, leading forensic voice identification experts have weighed in. Two such experts, using two different techniques, have come to the conclusion that it was not George Zimmerman crying for help on the 911 call.

Tom Owen, forensic consultant for Owen Forensic Services LLC, used voice identification software called Easy Voice Biometrics to compare Zimmerman's voice to the one heard screaming on the 911 call. The software returned at 48 percent match, and Owen said to have a positive match with audio of that quality, he's expect 90 percent or greater:

None

Michigan-based audio engineer and forensics expert Ed Primeau prefers audio enhancement and human analysis. Primeau is a firm believer that the screams belong to Martin, based on the tone of the voice. "That's a young man screaming," he added.
