If you are one of the few people feeling blue over the fact that this summer will be without a Transformers movie, don't fret. Peter Berg's adaptation of the board game, Battleship, looks exactly like it was forged inside of the explosion-addled mind of Michael Bay himself.
The look, the feel, and the CGI all bear a striking resemblance to Bay's robot mash-up, and fans of that franchise should fall in love with this new clip from the movie. Here we have explosions on top of explosions as the alien menace of the film unleashes an onslaught on the military. It remains to be seen whether or not the movie will actually have a coherent plot, but in terms of eye-candy, this should be as pleasing as any other blockbuster coming out this year.
Battleship will hit theaters on May 18.
