The Spring Regional Championships kick off this weekend, with competitions in eight cities: Surrey, BC; Pleasanton, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Athens, GA; Toronto, ON; Philadelphia, PA; Houston, TX; and Madison, WI.
Players will compete in both the Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon Black and White. The Regionals started today, and even if you're not competing you can still head to your city's event and check out the festivities.
The Spring Regional Champions will win a Travel Award to the Pokemon U.S. National Championships (or the Pokemon Canadian National Championships). There, they'll have a chance to win an invitation to the World Championships in Hawaii. If only you hadn't sold your Game Boy, right?
