The second video in Blizzard's character introduction series for Diablo III. The monks of Ivgorod have been training their minds and bodies to become unstoppable weapons.
Gameplay-wise, the monk is a hand-to-hand combat expert: he can concentrate his energy to attack a single opponent or do close-range area attacks after building up enough "spirit" by pummelling enemies.
In addition to his martial arts, the monk also uses swords, staves, and other weapons, so you don't have feel like choosing the monk means giving up on using weapons altogether.
Diablo III will be in stores on May 15th.
