It has been a while since we have seen any new footage from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, but that doesn't mean the news has stopped flowing. According to Collider, the MPAA has rated Nolan's final Batman flick PG-13 for, "...intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language."

This might disappoint some fans expecting a rated-R showdown between the Caped Crusader and Bane, but in a world where teenagers make up a huge chuck of a movie's profits, there is no way that Warner Brothers would allow that to happen. This news about a rating is significant because it signals that the movie is getting closer to being finished, which means that we could be seeing a new trailer soon with completed special effects and music.
