Stephon Marbury Loses Los Angeles Mansion at Foreclosure Auction

It was all good just a week ago.

Things were alright for Stephon Marbury. Even though he should still be in the NBA, he just won a championship playing for the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association. Back in the states, he hasn't been as lucky—his Los Angeles mansion was just sold at a foreclosure auction.

TMZ got their hands on court documents that show Marbury owed $3.1 million on an 8,000 square-foot,  7 bedroom, 8 bath home. Meanwhile, someone else bought it for $2.275 million.

Recall the '96 NBA Draft: who would've thought that Steve Nash and Derek Fisher would still be playing and Marbury and Allen Iverson would be out of the league?
