Resistance: Burning Skies looks like one of the best upcoming games for the PS Vita, a system with a strong launch lineup but little to follow it up so far.
But with its dual analog sticks, the Vita could be the first system to do shooters right. The official PlayStation website has revealed some new details about the game's multiplayer: it'll allow for up to eight players online, across six maps and three game types.
That may seem scant for a shooter these days, but there's always the possibility of more modes and maps being added as DLC. And hopefully the campaign will be the game's main draw—check out the story trailer above.
