After what seemed like an eternity, the candidate we all forgot was still actually a candidate, Newt Gingrich, is most likely going to end his campaign for Republican presidential nominee. Rumors are swirling that Gingrich is planning on making the announcement on Tuesday, and throwing his support behind likely GOP nom, Mitt Romney.
Gingrich's campaign has been pretty dead for a while, so this news comes as no surprise - the last straw was likely losing to Romney in Delaware last night by a whopping 30 points. Even worse, in the past three months, he's only won his home state of Georgia.
Another one bites the dust.
