In addition announcing New Super Mario Bros. 2 and unveiling Project X Zone, Nintendo took a little time to talk about Kirby during last night's Nintendo Direct livestream. The lovable transforming binge-eater turns 20 this year, and Nintendo would like to do a little bit to celebrate so they're releasing a collection of Kirby's older adventures for the Wii.
Nintendo didn't specify what games would make it onto the "Kirby Anniversary Collection", nor did they provide a release timetable. At the moment, they really just wanted everyone to know that they haven't forgotten Kirby's birthday.
