Ikea is entering the consumer electronics game. At last week's Salone design show in Milan, the Swedish home goods company packed its press kit with a digital camera sporting a cardboard case. Powered by two AA batteries, the Ikea camera can hold 40 images and connects to a computer via a USB stalk that sprouts from the side. Gizmodo says the camera will soon make its way to Ikea stores. From the looks of it, and knowing Ikea's usual build quality, you may want to stick with your phone's camera.
