Just when you thought it wasn't possible for the cast of the next Fast & Furious movie to be able to bench-press any more weight, The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that MMA star Gina Carano is in talks to join the franchise for its sixth installment.
There is no word yet on the plot, but the site is reporting that Carano's character will serve alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's team of Diplomatic Security Service Agents that showed up in Fast Five. Carano made her acting debut earlier this year in Steven Soderbergh's Haywire where she received some critical acclaim for her onscreen fights as well as her acting ability.
After Fast Five became the most successful installment in the franchise, director Justin Lin signed on to return behind the camera for what is now his fourth Fast & Furious movie, and Chris Morgan was brought back to write the screenplay.
Fast Six will hit theaters on May 24, 2013.
