At today's press conference in Jacksonville, Fla., special prosecutor Angela Corey announced that George Zimmerman will be charged with second degree murder for killing Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman is currently in custody. CNN legal analyst Mark NeJame says that he turned himself in to police, which Corey confirmed, but declined to specify Zimmerman's location.
Zimmerman's lawyers have the right to request a bond, and once that happens, a bond hearing will be held.
More on this story as it develops.
